The Digital Signage Federation recently rolled through Atlanta for one of its regional Meet & Greet events. MaxMedia, one of Atlanta’s resident powerhouses for retail analytics and the future of retail advertising, served as the venue for DSF members and other industry leaders to gather. After networking and plenty of hors d’oeuvres, the attendees heard from SmartBomb Media Group CEO and DSF Board Member Sheldon Silverman, who gave a presentation, entitled “State of the Industry and Past Lessons,” in which he discussed new trends in measurement, ad-buying practices and barriers to entry for emerging networks amongst other salient talking points.
