During DSE, education opportunities can be found around every corner with 110 sessions on tap – that’s nearly 100 hours of education in just two days! In addition to a keynote session each day, DSE will feature 34 conference seminars, 42 Industry Roundtables and 34 free On-Floor Workshops.
From true beginners to industry veterans, the conference program, which is sponsored by BroadSign, has something for everyone. The program is comprised of eight tracks – including five dedicated to end users – with four sessions each:
- Corporate Communications
- Digital Out-of-Home Network Operators
- Digital Signage Fundamentals
- General End Users
- Higher Education
- Pro AV/IT Systems Integrators
There will also be two seminars available to DSE exhibitors, free of charge. These seminars – Emerging Trends in Digital Out-of-Home and Doing Business in Latin America: The Smart Approach – will take place on the show floor before it opens each day.
Following the keynote sessions on Wednesday morning (which will be highlighted in a future issue of the MyDSE Newsletter), the conference program kicks off at 9 a.m. with such sessions as Understanding the Parts of a Digital Signage Network, Building a Roadmap for Creating an Engaging Digital Experience in Retail, and Large-Format and Non-Standard Solutions for Digital Signage. To view the entire session schedule, visit DSE2017.com.
After the exhibit hall opens, the Industry Roundtables and On-Floor Workshops will begin. DSE Industry Roundtables offer the opportunity for peer-to-peer discussions and knowledge sharing about targeted topics as well as learning from an industry leader in an intimate, moderated environment. Each discussion, which lasts 60 minutes, is led by a facilitator, who has the responsibility of guiding the group in an engaging and productive sharing of information. Seating is limited for these sessions – a maximum of 12 people, including the facilitator(s). Visit DSE2017.com for a full schedule of roundtables, which includes sessions in a number of industry verticals – including Retail, Restaurants, Education, Event Venues, Transportation, Hospitality and Corporate – as well as sessions geared toward special groups such as network operators, ad agencies, and commercial integrators and installers.
Finally, DSE offers free workshops on the show floor. These sessions, generally presented by DSE exhibitors, are available to all attendees on a first-come, first-seated basis with approximately 50 seats available. Covering a wide variety of topics and industry verticals, these 30-minute sessions are presented in three different theaters – the Best Practices Theater, the Digital Content Show Theater and the Mexico Pavilion – throughout both days of the show. The Best Practices Theater and Digital Content Show Theaters will host 14 sessions – seven each day – at DSE 2017, while the Mexico Pavilion will host six seminar – three each day – which will be presented in Spanish. A full schedule of Workshops can be found at DSE2017.com.
