Digital Out-of-Home Strategy Summit
The Digital Out-of-Home Strategy Summit offers a high-level, 35,000-foot perspective on the state of the industry. The conference serves as a meeting place for brand marketers, ad agencies and network operators, covering what each constituent needs to know about digital out-of-home media and its role in the evolving digital landscape. The conference addresses present and future issues and challenges, including how the medium is measured, who sees it, how effective it is, where it’s located, what it costs and where it fits in the media buyer’s planning.

Digital Retail Forum: Analytic Applications That Transform Retail
Massive volumes of customer and operational data position retailers to benefit from investments in analytics. Research has found, for example, that retailers have more to gain from analytics than most other industries. With that, analytics needs to become a core capability for retailers.

During this day-long session, Forum attendees will learn how key challenges are being met and how retailers are leveraging data to win in the aisles. Case studies will be presented by leading retailers. In addition, attendees will learn best practices, understand the potential return on these investments, and how to generate actionable insights to improve the customer experience and reduce operating costs.

Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) Program
The Digital Signage Certified Expert program provides a full understanding of all the elements of digital signage and the interconnected technologies that produce the images seen on screen.

Digital signage is the fastest growing segment of the commercial AV, content creation and advertising industries. It appears quite simple at first glance but becomes a tangled web of interconnected technologies acting together to produce the images we see on screen. The challenge is one of immersion and full understanding of all the elements of digital signage.

Digital Signage Display Expert (DSDE) Program
The Digital Signage Display Expert (DSDE) program is the industry’s only comprehensive training program designed exclusively for digital signage displays and calibration. The DSDE program addresses the subject of displays as a key component in a digital signage system and teaches how to properly calibrate them. The program recognizes that the displays are the “windows to the world” representing the digital signage message and that accuracy in transmitting images is directly related to impact and the effectiveness of the entire digital signage system.

The mandate of the DSDE program is for the attendees to understand each display technology and the key elements that can be adjusted/calibrated in concert with one another and relative to the environment in which the displays exist. By adopting calibration standards and understanding the methodologies involved in the calibration process, we can address an infinite number of applications and environments and never have the need to settle for a poor, mediocre or inaccurate image onscreen.

Digital Workplace Forum: Engagement Strategies for Employee Communications
In order to achieve success your employees need to be engaged, motivated, and informed. Hear from a variety of speakers and the internal communication tools and channels they’re using to achieve just this.

Guided Digital Signage Installation Tour
DSE’s 12th Annual Digital Signage Guided Installation tour will provide customer-facing views and behind-the-scenes insights of some of the best digital signage installations in Las Vegas.

While the most conspicuous manifestations of digital signage in the city are the bright lights along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard “Strip,” the 2017 edition of the escorted six-hour pre-show coach tour is distinguished by the variety of installations, both on and off the Strip. Spokespeople representing the venues and the technology will be on hand to answer questions and speak to the challenges they faced in concept, design and implementation, as well as provide insights into their solutions and results.

In addition, tour attendees will be treated to a networking lunch on their return to the Las Vegas Convention Center, where they can get answers to any lingering installation questions from a panel of experts from many of the companies providing technology to the various sites.

Locations featured in the DSE 2017 Digital Signage Guided Installation Tour will include:
• Harmon Corner
• Beerhaus at the Park
• T-Mobile Arena
• Topgolf Las Vegas

SEGD Branded Environments: Design for Brand Centric Customer Experiences
SEGD’s Branded Environments at Digital Signage Expo 2017 is the conference for the design of brand centric customer experiences. The one-day conference – and second day consisting of Las Vegas project and Digital Signage Expo show floor tours – delivers a focused learning experience on how to plan and design user-centric brand environments and experiences that engage customers in new and memorable ways. The conference sessions consist of case studies, insightful presentations and dialogues with global design leaders that will focus on the value of design and brand for businesses. Topics such as cities, communities, stadium, entertainment venues, retail and shopping environments will be covered in the sessions. In these sessions, speakers will present practical insights about digital integration, content and media, and the business of designing and managing for users and clients.

DSE New Attendee Bootcamp
New for 2017, first-time DSE attendees can join industry veterans for an orientation to familiarize themselves with the world’s largest international trade show and educational conferences dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks. Taking place the day before the show opens, Tuesday, March 28, the DSE New Attendee Bootcamp will walk rookies through the various educational opportunities available at DSE as well as how to best navigate the show floor and talk to vendors in order to make the most of their experience.

There will also be time to meet other first-timers (expert tip: walking the show floor is made easier with a companion) as well as some potential veteran mentors during a networking reception at the conclusion of the event.

The DSE New Attendee Bootcamp is free for attendees, but registration is required. Please contact Tara Grooms, DSE’s Attendee Relationship Manager, at tgrooms@exponation.net or (770) 817-6190 to sign up.
