“We are excited to work with Dataton and Show Sage to demonstrate the incredible displays you can create using projection mapping,” said Phong Phanel, product manager, Projectors, Epson America, Inc. “These joint efforts combine two industry leading companies to captivate and inspire users, showcasing the outstanding performance and reliability that can be attained by combining Dataton mapping solutions and Epson projector technology.”
In addition to demonstration activities at InfoComm, Dataton and Show Sage will participate in the Epson Integrator Certification (EIC) program starting in August. Designed for consultants, Pro AV professionals and decision makers to see the latest and greatest in projection technology, the EIC events will showcase a mapping solution using Dataton WATCHOUT software, WATCHMAX servers and WATCHPAX media players, along with a 45-minute breakout session. In addition, Dataton and Show Sage will offer full-day Dataton Academy trainings and certifications at select EIC events. Open to any Epson dealer or end-user, this one-day session is a hands-on training focused on programming and mapping using 3D models. Attendees will be awarded with a Dataton Academy Certification upon completion.
“WATCHOUT and Dataton’s media server solutions are by far the easiest, fastest and most reliable way to create spectacular presentations – from the smallest conference gig all the way to mapping the most famous buildings in the world,” said Lars Sandlund, chief operating officer, Dataton. “Combining this technology with Epson’s advanced large venue projector series allows us to showcase the capabilities of Dataton using bright projectors that provide outstanding image quality, reliability and flexibility for mapping displays.”
