Erik Bottema Joins Rouge Media Group as Chief Revenue Officer (USA Market)


Lower attention spans, the introduction of ad blocks, the rise of mobile, and changes in the way consumers react to media has made it increasingly difficult for brands to reach them. Despite these challenges, Out-Of-Home Advertising has proven to be impactful and continues to see strong growth. On people’s daily journey outside the home, this medium is one that catches attention without fail.

Rouge Media, a pioneer in location based out-of-home advertising within targeted and high impact venues such as campuses and salons has made its mark in the US market with a vast network of venues and clients. In an effort to further scale growth, Erik Bottema has been appointed to the position of Chief Revenue Officer, to oversee and drive business within the USA.

Erik Bottema is a seasoned executive leader in the out-of-home industry who has developed innovative media and sponsorship solutions for global brands in the US and internationally. Erik was part of WPP Kinetic’s leadership group where he successfully managed OOH media for various global marketers including Accenture, SAP and Citi. He also introduced numerous new clients and won various awards for work that he and his team developed for HSBC, and Marriott. Prior to Kinetic, Erik has held senior sales and account management positions at global media operators JCDecaux and Clear Channel.
