Speaker Bios: Dileep Varma is Director of Product Development at Outcome Health. In this role, he manages design and engineering of the technology that Outcome Health uses to provide educational content and Healthcare advertisement to millions of patients all around the United States. The Outcome Health network is the largest healthcare signage network providing educational content to patients in the US. Varma is constantly innovating in the space to improve engagement with his patients and providers to provide positive outcomes through this technology. Prior to Outcome Health, Varma ran Product Development at Motorola Mobility for their low tier product portfolio.
With 25 years of experience spanning film, television. digital signage, digital media, technology, sales and marketing, together with a tirelessly vibrant presence, Kim Sarubbi is a force both on and off the podium and has become a popular speaker and panel chair at leading industry events. She was recruited out of the University of Central Florida where she majored in Communications with a focus on Corporate Business and Development while also being a member of ARMY ROTC and fulfilling her duties as Miss UCF 1993. Sarubbi has served on the Executive Committee, as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-Chairwomen and the only woman to ever be elected Chairwoman of the Digital Signage Federation (DSF). She is currently serving on the Chair(wo)man’s Council, actively supporting and promoting the common business interests of the world-wide digital signage industry, the interactive technologies industry and the digital out-of-home network industry. In addition, she is continuing to stay abreast in her field by expanding her knowledge in technology by working towards a Micro Master in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Moderator Bio: Hagland has been Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Informatics magazine since January 2010. With Healthcare Innovation’s purchase of that property, Hagland assumes that title at Healthcare Innovation bringing 31 years’ of experience as a professional journalist, including 24 years’ experience as a healthcare journalist.
