Speaker Bios: Maroun Ishac is Director of Business Development in the Retail Solutions Division at Intel where he works closely with retail brands, creative agencies and system integrators to shape the future of new technology platforms that deliver richer, more engaging and more relevant customer experiences. Ishac has 20 years of experience in senior management positions at Intel. From 2003 to 2008, as Director of Customer and Sales Development Worldwide for the Intel Personal Health Care and Consumer Electronics Groups, he was responsible for developing and implementing OEM and sales development initiatives around the world. He has an extensive track record in designing and implementing new strategies and go-to-market models that deliver results and achieve revenue goals. In addition to his work at Intel, Ishac launched Cedrus Networks, a start-up focused on smart-grid mesh networks in the Middle East. Ishac is married with three children and enjoys farming and being a winemaker. He holds an MBA and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Arizona University.
Vikas Sharma is Director of Algorithms Pathfinding for Business at Intel. His group’s charter is to identify and tackle big problems across the company. Some may not even be known to have a feasible solution. His group’s problems range from identifying future technology trends to product planning, development and pricing, supply-demand balancing and sales and marketing. Sharma earned a Ph.D. in algorithms from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996 after which he joined Intel’s Process Development R&D, where he led development of test technologies on many process nodes before forming this pathfinding group three years ago.
Andreas Soupliotis is the Founder & CEO of Hivestack, a marketing technology company that helps digital marketers target custom audiences on location-based media. Soupliotis is also the Founder & CEO of Ayuda, a global ERP platform that automates the workflow of some the largest out-of-home advertising vendors. Prior to his career in marketing technology, he worked at Microsoft Research as a Research Design Software Engineer in the field of computer vision.
