FEBRUARY 21, 2017 (SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT) – Global Industrial PC company Logic Supply announced today that it has hired Robert Suffoletta to head up its Digital Media and Retail team. As the Account Executive dedicated to that vertical, Suffoletta will lead market development efforts in digital signage, kiosk, and point of sale applications.
Suffoletta comes to Logic Supply with over twelve years in the media player hardware business and over twenty years in the computer industry. Previously with Seneca Data, Suffoletta was a top performing business development executive who spearheaded growth in the signage segment. Seneca Data was acquired by Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW) in 2014.
“Logic Supply has an exciting approach to this fast growing market, and I see this as the right time for me to join,” said Suffoletta. “The company is seeing double-digit growth in the signage segment and they are working with some leading OEMs and ISVs. I’m excited to add my industry experience to this team and help build out this vertical for the company. There is tremendous opportunity here, especially given Logic Supply’s strong portfolio of fanless media players.”
Suffoletta’s hire is part of a larger market-focused initiative at Logic Supply. Said VP of Sales Brett Mancini, “As one of the very few global industrial and embedded computer companies based in the US, we have developed a strong offering to meet the needs of large multinational OEMs and ISVs. The next logical step in our evolution was to further customize our offering in the verticals we serve. That’s the thinking behind our new market teams.”
The company has developed six cross-departmental teams, broadly aligned with Intel’s Internet of Things Group (IoTG) segments. Logic Supply segments include Industrial & Energy, Physical Security & Building Automation, Digital Media & Retail, Networking & Communications, Government, and Medical.
Logic Supply will be exhibiting at Digital Signage Expo (DSE), a leading digital signage show, from March 29-30.
