Atlanta – Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that Jim Nista, CEO of Insteo, will present a session at DSE 2017 entitled, “Fundamentals and Applications of Digital Signage Content.”
This general conference session is part the Digital Signage Fundamentals Seminar Program at DSE 2017 designed specifically for End Users, AV Professionals, Systems Integrators or anyone considering creating a digital communications network.
To be presented Wednesday, March 29 at 4 p.m., this session will identify each type of content – such as digital posters, videos, interactive, HTML5 and data-driven applications – and which would be the best fit; review best practices for content development and the creative process from initial brainstorming to final installation; and will discuss the methods, techniques and applications used by the pros, with an overview of HTML5 programming, video/broadcast design, interactive development and graphic design.
DSE Advisory Board members recently considered content strategy development and suggested:
“Content is the crux of any digital signage platform, and the content strategy is the starting point for new client discussions. There are several steps that can be taken to develop an effective strategy.” Jonathan Dodge, Executive Vice President of Business Development, Freshwater Digital Media Partners
“We deal with a lot of data-driven content (instead of videos and images), so the strategy of keeping things fresh is often resolved before we even deploy. With data-driven content, such as information coming from third-party APIs, content is always live and fresh.” Jim Nista, CEO, Insteo
