Speaker Bios: Christie Rice is the segment director responsible for Intel’s digital signage and interactive kiosk business worldwide in the Internet of Things Group at Intel. In her role, she works to ensure that Intel technology meets the ever-changing needs of the digital signage market. She also works closely with the broad and expanding ecosystem to help connect customers to technology providers and help promote solutions that provide the immersive and interactive experience that customers demand. Before assuming her current role, Rice’s 20 years at Intel included various technical, product, business development and marketing management positions across a broad range of products and segments including memory, PCs, storage, networking and IoT. Christie holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dallas, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
Mark joined ANC in 1999 and has spearheaded the creation of ANC’s software systems including their award-winning operating systems. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer, Stross is responsible for the company’s development of new technologies and innovative playback systems. His leadership has led to partnerships with the leading LED manufacturers in the world while combining the intellectual properties of ScorePAD, StatusPro, and Playable TV into one of the most advanced software applications in the world. Known as a pioneer of LED video systems, Stross designed and deployed the first control system capable of driving a 360-degree LED ribbon continuously in a professional sports venue. He has founded several media companies such as Playable Television, which was real interactive TV that used touchscreens in 1995, leading him to ANC. Stross is a frequent contributor to the industry, serving on the Digital Signage Expo Advisory Board and speaking at events such as DSE, NAB, IDEA and SportsBusiness Journal’s Facilities Conference.
