Landmark at Ambience Mall Helps Usher in India’s Age of Digital Signage

Moreover, it is capable of handling interactive Augmented Reality (AR) content to engage its audience. The signage was launched formally on August 2, 2017 and has a slew of global brands showcasing their advertorial content to the right target audience.

India is taking gradual steps towards digitization. The country is being exposed to the various avenues. There was a growing need to offer an experience the country hasn’t ever seen. The marketers wanted to make the consumers experience their brands in a way they had never imagined. Ambience Mall in Gurugram houses numerous premium brands and is a fulcrum point for thousands of people every day. Hence, it was the obvious choice for the country’s next big innovation.


The country was looking for a digital signage solution but wasn’t finding one. The existing signage solutions weren’t offering an experience worthy of the brands. Not much innovation found its way in this sector either. Age-old technologies were still ruling the circuits without much ado.

The experience had to be breathtaking as well as overwhelming. LG OLED panels fit the bill for the flawless visuals, and AR added the zing to Landmark. The structure of Landmark is an engineering marvel. The huge masterpiece is 4.8 Tonnes and includes 70 OLED screens. It was specially manufactured and customized in Korea. The mall had to reinforce its infrastructure with six rigging points to help the Landmark stay suspended overhead. The entire process took two months after four months of rigorous planning.

A talking point of the town, Landmark has given advertisers a new medium to let the audience experience their brands. The immersive visuals and the overwhelming structure has made Landmark a mandatory selfie stop for all the visitors. The brands, on the other hand, are finding the new obsession all to their stride. As more content plays on the Landmark, sales are reaching all-time highs. This is an achievement of just one innovation at the heart of Delhi-NCR known to the world as Landmark. This is the beginning of the next era of digital signage in India.
