Atlanta – Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that Ed King, Vice President of Strategy and Laura Davis-Taylor, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience, both of MaxMedia, will co-present a session at DSE 2017 entitled, “Let’s Get Phygital!”
To be presented Wednesday, March 29 at 2 p.m., this session will discuss how the lines between digital and physical retail continue to blur, what customers expect from their store experience and where the next big opportunities are to break down the brick-and- mortar barriers. Attendees will learn:
- What shoppers are expecting of today’s in-store experience, and how meeting that will improve loyalty and return visits.
- About the integration strategies for effectively building a comprehensive digital media presence inside the store.
- Why big data and the Internet of Things matter to the digital retail experience.
“As brick-and-mortar retailers continue to compete with the ease, selection, price and convenience of online shopping, it’s become more important than ever to make the store a compelling experience,” said Davis-Taylor. “But it’s hard. Retail has been stuck in its ways for many, many years and partly to blame is a general industry-wide aversion to change.”
