Show Title – Signage Designed By Retail, For Retail
Show Notes: In 1883, Barney Kroger invested his life savings to open a grocery store in Cincinnati, Ohio. Today, Kroger Co. is known as one of the largest retailers in the world. Last year, the company pioneered digital shelf technology and won an APEX Award with EDGE (Enhanced Display for Grocery Environment) to enhance customers’ in-store shopping experience. This year, the Kroger team is back with an update to the project and is nominated for another APEX Award. On this episode, Kroger’s General Manager Titus Jones and EDGE Product Manager Kevin Fessenden both join us to share how the shelf technology was created and deployed in their stores throughout the Midwest.
