SageNet Names New Chief Information Officer

TULSA, OK – Aug. 31, 2016 — SageNet, a Tulsa-based leading managed services provider, announced today that B.D. Thrower has joined the company as Chief Information Officer (CIO). 

As SageNet’s CIO, Thrower will serve on the company’s executive team and oversee Information Technology and the Program Management Office. He brings to SageNet extensive domestic and international experience in enterprise-wide infrastructure integration, IT strategic planning, architecture and software deployment.

Thrower previously served as Managing Director and CIO of TTG, a Charlotte, N.C.-based IT consulting firm, where he coordinated IT strategy and server network operations for customers such as Duke Energy, Charlotte Healthcare System and Family Dollar.

In addition, Thrower has served as a Senior Vice President overseeing infrastructure technology and enterprise architecture for Liberty Mutual Group and Bank of America.

He holds a BS in computer science from Langston University and an MS in Information Science from Nova Southeastern University and numerous industry certifications, including Certified ITIL – Expert, Certified Six Sigma – Master Black Belt, and Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
