TouchTunes Media and TransitScreen Introduce the First Real-time Urban Transit Information System in Bars Nationwide

TransitScreen, which will appear in the jukebox’s video loop, and can also be selected directly by patrons using the jukebox, will integrate information about nearby trains, subway, buses, and taxis or rideshare options such as Uber or Lyft.

“This exciting partnership will provide patrons with easy access to a variety of transit options,” explains Susan Danaher, Head of Advertising and Marketing for TouchTunes Media. “Through our digital jukebox screens, they can conveniently determine the most optimal and safe way of getting where they need to go. This will save time and encourage the use of mass transit.”

TouchTunes continues to innovate its digital technology capabilities, and TransitScreen is a natural expansion of its entertainment platform, which includes music. Last year, more than 1 billion songs were played in bars and restaurants through the TouchTunes network.
