Check out NexNovo Technology’s new XRW3 transparent LED Display, which is being put to good use at the Mercedes roadshow in China, where the screen glides along a motorized track in sync with graphics that seem to trace the vehicle. There are plenty of use cases across industry verticals to dream up for this kind of transparent display, which provides a fancy sort of laser-scanned x-ray vision. But we’re guessing everyone is about to see a whole lot more of this kind of thing used initially as ad teasers or sneak peeks inside a product—exclusive previews and demonstrations of state-of-the-art functionality. The film became an Official Selection at 12 international film festivals, won Best Documentary at the 2009 Central Florida Film Festival and a John Muir Gold Award at the 2009 Yosemite Film Festival.
