UXG (User Experience Global) Ltd has announced the appointment of Paul Midwood as its Head of Development, with the company planning further expansion on the back of its 2017 rebrand and move to larger premises. The Digital Media and AV Technology specialist plans to consolidate its position as a true turn key solutions provider, whilst broadening its appeal.
With a 16-year background in corporate identity and brand implementation, Paul has progressed into the digital media and technology sector over the past eight years, and brings a wealth of experience to UXG.
“I’m delighted to have had the opportunity of joining UXG at this crucial stage in its development,” says Paul. “In 2018 I’ll be working hard to consolidate the market-leading position across the Group as a whole, whilst re-establishing some of the core values of UX Global – formally Unicam Ltd – and broadening our market appeal.”
Established last summer, UXG’s new headquarters effectively doubled the company’s work and build space, enabling the business to react at the same fast pace as the burgeoning digital industry, and allowing for full assembly of UXG’s indoor and outdoor LED walls, including interactive walls and tables. UXG continues to develop Engine, its state-of-the-art technology hub at the new facility, rivalling similar innovative technology spaces in London.
“UXG’s team worked extremely hard in the run up to the move last summer, and latterly when establishing Engine,” explains Widd Group CEO Gary Williams. “The move represented a major growth initiative and a shift in company direction that saw us pushing hard for more interactive tech business, alongside our well-established digital signage business. Paul has been appointed to continue and broaden this expansion, whilst ensuring that UXG’s core values, particularly with regard to digital signage, are given the top priority.”
UXG works with leading brands and marketing agencies to design, build and integrate innovative technology installations for retailers, hoteliers, and enterprises. For further information please visit the UXG website, www.uxglobal.co.uk
